Being famous is not so bad after all. Sometimes fame and brings fortune, but other times it brings headaches. Once you are famous you will need an agent, a photographer, a bodyguard, an accountant, a therapist, a lawyer, and perhaps a good plastic surgeon.

Emery is Famous!

Being famous is one goal on a list of many that I will accomplish. I
am destined to be a music producer. Who isn’t.. you ask? I’m not
sure, nor can I speak for them. In fact, I have just figured what
another rung in my destiny is. And it%92s probably not what you%92re
thinking. I am going to chiefly produce gospel music. I love Jazz,
Smooth Jazz, Funk, and ‘Positive’ Rhythm and Blues. So those styles
will also be included.

I was born and raised a Pastor’s Son. And my folks were 60’s and
70’s babies. So I heard a lot of Blue Magic, Smokey Robinson,
Heatwave, Luther Vandros, Temptations, Aretha Franklin (and A LOT
more) growing up. I started playing the drums at age 3, and the
piano at age 10. I also play the bass guitar, acoustic/lead (a
little), organ, and keyboard. I’ve been in numerous talent shows as
an adolescent, and I love the stage. But it wasn’t until I moved to
New Mexico from Benton Harbor, MI that I discovered my passion for
producing.

I’ve played for some of Gospels greatest Psalmists: Stevie Wonder,
Vickie Winans, Byron Cage, Stephanie Dotson, Desmond Pringle, William
Murphy III, Bishop Paul S. Morton, the list goes on and on. I have
worked with the Albuquerque Film Festival and have had the fortuity
of composing the score to ‘Talk Me To Death’ a film short by Duke
City Shootout. As a producer, I’ve worked with recording artists
Rosalind Sanders-Jones, Gwen Norwood, Sonya Barry, Charissa L.
Varrie, Cornell Burton, Dee Brown and others. I have instructed
Gospel Music workshops, and have composed jingles for a fortune 500
company. I am currently an organist at Eastern Star Church in
Indianapolis, IN. Its ironic, though, that it all pails in
comparison to listening to a song that was composed, written and/or
produced by me.

My musical talent has taken me from the depths of Florida, to the
glitz and glamour of Tinsel Town; from the frigid cold of Colorado,
to the diversity of New York. I have accomplished a lot of feats
that have collectively prepared me for my destiny. Like I said in
the beginning, being famous is only one goal on a list of many that I
WILL accomplish. Look for my name in lights very soon.
