Being famous is not so bad after all. Sometimes fame and brings fortune, but other times it brings headaches. Once you are famous you will need an agent, a photographer, a bodyguard, an accountant, a therapist, a lawyer, and perhaps a good plastic surgeon.

Luis Cortez is Famous!

Luis Cortez

I wanna be famous because I want my family’s sacrifices to mean something. My parents left behind everything they knew—their home, their friends, their language—so that I could have a chance at something better. I grew up watching them work harder than anyone I’ve ever met, and it made me realize that nothing in life comes easy.

For me, fame isn’t just about being known. It’s about making sure their struggles weren’t in vain. I want my name to be remembered, not just as another celebrity, but as someone who broke barriers, who represented his culture with pride, who showed the next generation that we belong in spaces we were told we could never reach. Fame, for me, isn’t the goal—it’s the tool. And I plan to use it to open doors for those who come after me, just like my parents did for me.

At IWannaBeFamous!, we feature one ordinary person at a time. Are you up to the challenge of having fame? If so, send us your photo today and tell us why you wanna be famous!
